Making a lot of concept art for a short pilot episode (around 2-3 minutes) of a project I’ve been working on for a small time but really got invested in it, if anyone’s interested in the behind the scenes or me posting about it more comment or interact with this post I guess, this is really just to check if people would be intrested in this project becoming an actual indie show or small series online.

a quick synopsis of Sincerely, M(from the google doc which is LONGGGG:,D)

Sincerely, M is an Indie animated mixed media physiological horror about the inhabitants of Terrarium B. Sincerely, M will be focusing on the main character of Charlie Isio Poddin, a nonbinary isopod worker dealing with existential thoughts and fears of being nothing more then a small being in a big world, starting to write to a penpal who only signs their letters with ‘Sincerely M’ from Terrarium A. it deals with themes of loneliness, anxiety, all the phobia relating LGBTQIA+ identities (homophobia, acephobia, arophobia, transphobia etc), self harm/suicidal thoughts, depression, trypophobia and other similar themes which I will repeat when I talk about this project!!! Dispute the cute/cottage core like art style this will be a disturbing and mature series which will deal with heavy themes!!! I can’t reveal too much other then that for now but there’s my limited rambles about my passion project which is currently half way through the story boards/finishing up concept art for future episodes!(some examples are below Including the logo concept(so far that’s the best yet not finished one), character designs, backgrounds and storyboards!)

Some inspirations are Dhmis, House of puso(idk if I spelled that right), everything made by Spareflesh, A series of unfortunate events, Junji Ito’s works(especially the art), Smile guide and similar analog horrors such as the walten files and vida carnus and more recently Knights of Guinevere(so far) :)! Here’s a poll to gauge interest in the project down below!

You know, not many. Like I said before I don’t really HC anyone of the squad as Trans, but that’s just because I didn’t think about it when I first started writing them, so it’s hard to switch my perspective now. But here’s a few I’ve come up with over the past few days: Trans!Michael:      Gender dysphoria that drives him up the wall     Packs, binds, the whole deal      Has a bigger chest and that’s part of why he wears his hoodie and baggie clothes all the time     Never leaves the house without packing

Trans!Jeremy:      Doesn’t really need a binder because his chest is so small he can pass without one, but wears one anyway because things touching his chest are NOT OKAY.      Doesn’t pack because he’s too nervous it’s gonna move or fall and what if somebody sees it?

Trans!Jake     Not actually that tall -- definitely wears lifts in his shoes.      Really Obsessed with Girls      Binds and packs      Not afraid to strip to his binder and boxers he’s gorgeous fight him 

Trans!Jenna     Has been on E forever -- her parents are very accepting of her      Has better bras than most teenage girls her age      Will fight anyone that’s mean to her friends

Trans!Chloe     Better makeup skills than anyone you know      Watches James Charles and Jeffree Star on YT      Make up snob

Trans!Brooke     Very self-conscious about her body      Wears a corset to train her waist in      Always has a sweater because she doesn’t like people looking at her body

Do you ship boyf riends?

I do, but I also ship Expensive Headphones, and PuppyLove, and Stage Dorks — (just some examples involving Jeremy and Michael) — basically I can see something good in most ships. I’ll post shippy things even of ships I don’t ship if the quote works though. Especially if it’s submitted. -M

opinion on trans michael?

100% valid. When I write Michael I don’t write him as trans, but that’s partly because I didn’t start him as trans and changing it now would feel disjointed in my roleplays and fanfics.

I’d totally experiment with the idea in my writing if anyone wanted to see it, and I’m all for it when I see it in art and fiction around the site even if it’s not my personal headcanon.

TLDR;; Love trans Michael, even if I don’t write him that way.
