Oooooh gosh. I think I love the fact that they really do get each other. Killian has messed up. Big time. Done some pretty bad things. But Emma doesn't judge him, just like she doesn't really judge anyone because she understands what's past is past and that everyone makes mistakes. She also knows that everything he did was out of pain and loss, something she can understand. And I love that he is so understanding of her and is able to make her brick walls transparent. I JUST LOVE THEM SO MUCH THEY JUST DESERVE EACH OTHER. I ship them because they are, in fact, kindred spirits. They haven't gone through the same pain, but they're able to recognize and relate to each other. They're slowly but surely healing each other and breaking down each other's walls and I think it's just so beautiful.
