What’s your most important goal in life?

im gonna be honest, i saw the question and my first thought was Oh GOD robin don’t make answer THIS ONE!!

i’m terrible at goals! in the immortal words of ali wong ‘i don’t want to LEAN IN, i want to LIE DOWN’

the problem with finding a singular purpose in life for me is that i’m obsessed by everything and motivated to do very little about it, which is probably why i’m always broke.

but aside from that i think you could say my goal in life is just to learn as much as i can about everything and apply it to absolutely nothing, so to be born in the age of the internet was certainly a boon

i would have made a fantastic philosopher, though.

This hiatus is too long and I'm craving a new angsty Turnadette fic... Anyone willing to step up to the challenge? Also, I'm desperately missing the gush-worthy drawings of the great @sincerelyrobink. Robin, will you ever grace us with your talent again? Either way, I'm going to have to revisit all of your work from the very beginning, both drawings and pic fics.

1. Why did you choose your URL? So lame, but the “knit” portion comes from the fact that I’m really into knitting (and crafting in general), and “Lark” was the name of a coffee place my fiancé and I used to meet in a lot when we lived in Brooklyn! A little silly, but I couldn’t think of anything better at the time.

2. What is your middle name? Elizabeth.

3. If you could own a fairytale/ fictional pet, what would it be? Can I have Daenerys' dragons or

5. Favorite song? This changes constantly, but currently, it's "Love Will Tear Us Apart" by Joy Division.

6. What are your top three fandoms? Currently, it's OUAT, Call the Midwife, and Shameless.

7. Why do you enjoy Tumblr? The fandom presence, the gifsets, and the fics, but mostly, I like that my parents and older relatives haven't quite infiltrated it yet. :D
