Shelagh left the baby with Patrick, who assured her it was completely fine, as he had a couple of errands to run anyway and had already planned to open the surgery a little later than usual.
Patrick got home a few hours later, just as she pulled the shepherd's pie out of the oven to cool. She’d just checked on Angela, still asleep, though she’d need to be woken up soon. Tim, as per usual, was in his room reading.
Shelagh and Patrick get what they'd prayed for, but find that all is not as rosy as they'd anticipated.
Tim, of course, was all questions as they left the clinic and got settled at home. She put Angela down for a nap, and the little girl nodded off without any complaint. She smiled at her little face, slack and innocent in sleep, and stroked her cheek gently. Their daughter had lived up to the name they’d picked for her. She’d been a good baby, right from the start. Only cried when she was hungry or wet, slept through the night from six months on.

Ironic that an episode featuring diabetes was almost too saccharine in places!
Felt quite sorry for Nurse 'call me Phyllis' Crane having her childhood sense of being an outsider reinforced (unintentionally) by the laughter of the younger nurses.
Timothy's Grammar School uniform was awfully purple :-0
"Helloooo Nurse" Was smacganns channelling Carry On films?? (but SO happy to see Shelagh carrying on in a proper nursing role)!
Angela Turner may well be just THE cutest baby in the whole of existence.
