her body was like that of a feline’s the way she glided through the food court and eventually into the last department store in which max wanted to attend. it was odd, the small girl was a burst of energy but never liked to stay in one place too long. it took half of a second for her to find what she needed, pay for it at the desk and meet amara back outside. her voice was low when she told her that she needed to go meet her friends, but amara assured her that her friends were important as friends usually are to children her age.
a simple wave dismissed the girl while a shift in her weight revealed her true displeasure in seeing her go. it was nothing to take her shopping, talk to her and give her advice, but they had some how managed to bond the entire time. she was a complex child; so full of pain and rage but blessed with understanding and a need to be accepted and loved. it was a fortress of emotion that amara understood all too well. · · · · her body moved slowly towards the exit of the mall but before she could successfully leave the establishment, she felt her path blocked by another person.

“i can do without the attitude.” snapping back, the first sentence out of her mouth IRKS him. but-- she could’ve honestly said anything and it would’ve irked him. who the hell even is this girl? what is she up to? billy doesn’t even recall seeing her at school. then again, he doesn’t really pay much attention to any of the high school girl’s here. they’re all...kinda NOT HIS TYPE. besides that, girl’s are just pain in the asses.
“you’re-- in MINE.” tone of voice drops another gravely octave, already being gruff sounding enough on it’s own. jaw grinds at the sight of the brunette, assuming the worst. thinking how she has to be up to something. leave it to max to just up and trust anyone who looks remotely nice. now, now he’s going to get to the bottom of it until he gets her OUT of his way. billy doesn’t dare move, keeps his hand glued to the wall and inching even closer to the shorter girl’s face, “i see you’ve been hanging out with my sister. WHY?”
