Flabba’s killer offers apology after graduating in #prison September 25, 2018 | by Hope Winters It has been over three years since famous rapper, Flabba, was stabbed to death in an altercation A lot has happened since the night he lost his life, but the woman responsible for her death has since apologised. #SindisiweManqele was convicted of murdering her boyfriend, #NkululekoHabedi AKA #Flabba after an altercation between the two turned violent. At the time, she claimed that she was defending herself but since then she has maintained that she never meant to kill the musician. Sindisiwe is back in the headlines this week and has set her mind on not only atoning for her actions, but on building her life too In this weekend’s Sunday Sun, Sindisiwe was quoted in a headline saying “I’m Sorry!” for the incidents that led to Flabba’s death. Sindisiwe was offered the platform to speak for the first time since her incarceration this weekend after she graduated from prison, along with 127 other convicted felons in South Africa. Speaking to eNCA at the graduation, Sindisiwe revealed that she was educating herself as a means to apologise to the people she had wronged when she accidentally killed #Flabba. “There’s a lot of people that were hurt by the incident that took place and the journey I took to be here. There’s a lot of wrongs that I need to right, I’ve hurt a lot of people.” She added that she was using education to build herself a better life before adding that she didn’t want her life in prison to define her “I want to do better and live a better life. I was studying even before I was incarcerated. I was doing my honours in business I’m just taking it from where I was and continuing with that because I’ve got little siblings who look up to me. “There should be a positive to Sindi. I don’t want to be known as Sindi the bhantinti (prisoner).
