Day 13 - Drink
Y’know...
...Everyone have been expecting for Serendine to RUIN EVERYTHING!!!!11! when it comes to Sindria 1.0 because of Zepar and all. But in the current chapter of M:tLoM, she is said to have sacrificed herself.
Maybe, because Ohtaka/Ohtera stubbornly refuses to let Serendine say anything about her feelings about her people/actually properly argumented concern about tying Sindria to Barbarossa (who discards his allies when they are no longer useful, see Serendine, who had to sell pieces of her body to survive, and not even his close family is safe, see Drakon, and his mutilated until death body), instead forcing her to repeat her blue blood argument time and time again (and how Parthevia is her family’s), perhaps it ends up being the other way around?
“I love the countries that Ohtaka created, not just the big countries like Reim, Kou and Sindria, but especially the smaller ones like Sasan, Kina, Imchakk and Artemyra. I hope we get more omakes about those countries some day”

You awoke to another beautiful day of Sindria, you felt the warmth of the sun as it touched your skin. With a smile on your face you reached out to your husband, only for your hand to land on the empty and cold side of your shared bed. Feeling your eye twitch at waking up to another morning alone, you huffed before getting out of you warm bed, irritated.
Today was going to be the last day that you woke up alone. You’d travel to hell and back just to make sure of that but you needed to have a nice and friendly chat with the King of Sindria. Deciding that would be the first thing to do as you briskly walked to his royal study, where he slack off from his duties, to accomplish your mission.
Knocking on lavish doors you patiently waited, “Come in.” Said the voice of the very man you wanted to have a quick word with. “Oh it’s you ___, it’s been quiet some time since we’ve last spoken. How have you been?” He cheerily some as he motioned for some tea to be brought in.
Your smile straining against your lips gave Sinbad a foreboding feeling as to where this conversation headed. “Sinbad do you want to know why I am here today?” You calmly started and continued regardless of his answer, “I hoped that I would have woken up looking into the face of my sleeping husband but instead I was met with an empty bed. We need to fix that. Today.” You explained as you sipped your tea with a brilliant smile that made him shrink back.
Sinbad had clearly thought this was going to be a friendly visit but remembered one thing that he learned from Hinahoho: Never stand in a way of a marriage. All the dungeons in the world would never have prepared him for an encountered a situation of an angered spouse with no way to use his djinn equips or physical abilities.
Grey eyes took in all the scrolls laying on his once neat desk, his own paperwork already filed for the day while his King’s was overflowing his work space. If he didn’t get half way through this stack then he’d miss going to bed with you later that night. “Why can’t Sinbad actually do his own work for once instead of chasing skirts?” Ja'far muttered under his breathe as he went back to work in diplomatic papers.
“Ja'far~” you sang as you pushed open the door to quickly spot your husband in a pile of, no doubt Sinbad’s, paperwork. You wrapped your arms around his lean frame and showered his freckled face in sweet kisses, “I convinced the King to give you a break so we can have a vacation together~” you explained joyously.
Doubting what his ears were hearing he gently grasped your shoulders to look you in the eyes, “____, that isn’t possible, if I’m not here then these documents will never get finished and-” he tried to explain but your peaceful smile stopped him.
“I already talked to him about that, you don’t need to worry.” Ja'far’s 6th sense picked up on the sinister feeling that hid behind your smile. Feeling torn between being proud that you forced Sinbad to do his own work for once and feeling a bit intimidated that your smile spiked such a feeling in him-he decided not to question your methods and to accept this blessing, “I hope you enjoy our vacation love.” He couldn’t help the small smile on his face as he no doubt had a feeling you took care of everything for him.
Could you possibly do head cannons of judar and Ja'far comforting their s/o after a really bad fight with someone who hurt them and another one on how they act with each other like just hanging around the house chilling or something cute please :)
I can’t really honestly see Judar comforting someone and if he did it’ll blow up in his face actually lol I’m not really great at cute things at all.

· Ja'far is a very patient man and will wait for you to calm down, wiping away your tears from your face as gently as possible, and good you to him if you so wish him to do. Ja'far is willing give you your space until you feel ready for talking about what happened to you. Or if you want him to hold you, he will and he will let you cry into him your pain, rubbing your back until he’s noticed you’re calmed. Ja'far will suggest to cook you for favorite comfort food until you’re mood changes for the better.
· You both have a cute ritual of once a week (or as often as possible) that you both work on cooking shared favorite dishes and ones where you both can have differing towards yourselves. More often than not during these times you both often jest that you can make a certain dish better than the other. This causes small little contest that ends up with you both sometimes flinging small amounts of batter at one another until both of your stomachs grumble and remind you that’s you guys need to eat.
| Judar
· Judar doesn’t know how to comfort anyone at all, he’ll keep his distance if he sees you crying because memories of his past and how they’ve treated him into not acting like a crying child lest he get punishes flash behind his eyes. After realizing that you need someone he will try to comfort you as best as he can saying that he'll hurt the person who hurt you because how dare they do that. Maybe even throw a childish tantrum that might make you laugh at his attitude and when he hears that he'll demand why you're laughing at him which will only make you laugh even more at his expressions.
· On very lazy days Judar will have a certain spot in your garden that he will set out with blanket and a basket of peaches to eat. Judar might wait there all day until you decide to join him, that was his plan, and have you lay down with him as you both watch the clouds, sky or the leaves above. He'll wrap an arm around you and talk about random nonsense as he bites into the peaches, giving you time to voice your thoughts and dreams for him to listen. Judar tries to show that he isn't nice so he might sarcastically make a comment here and there about what you say only for you to see right through it.
I think Sindria is more similar to the ancient empire of Srivijaya, which started in Indonesia. Sindria is named after Sinbad, who was an actual Indian legend (from Sindh, no less). So while the origin of the name is correct, nothing else is similar. Besides the Srivijaya empire was based around several islands, and they established a huge trading empire with the rest of Southeast Asia. Just giving my 2 cents.
Ah, this is interesting! I knew about the ref of Sindria being based on India from the Magi wikia don’t shoot me /shot
Interesting, I’m from Indonesia myself so the history of Srivijaya itself is quite familiar for me. There are many similarities as well, such as Sindria being a huge trading empire like Srivijaya Kingdom and a blend of many cultures (I believe Srivijaya’s culture is a mix between indigenous culture, Indian culture and some Chinese culture) altogether. It was also a superpower kingdom back in its glory, but it was ruined caused by an invasion from India, iirc.
Thank you for pointing that out! :3
