She had awoken within the guest room that the kind male of the castle had given her to stay for the evening, Kagome’s head slowly turning towards the window to see the storm had yet to cease. In fact, it seemed even louder and crazier than it did the night prior. She had only requested to stay the one evening, but she couldn’t continue her journey to her grandfather’s shrine in this weather, right? That would seem like a suicide mission.
Kagome slowly begins to get dressed, thankful she at least packed one change of spare clothes other than the wet ones she arrived in. It was a simple blue gown with some pink rose patterns embroidered into it, a piece of clothing her mother had made her so she would look presentable to her grandfather. She then brushed her hair out, straightening as best she could in the small vanity the room provided. Everything here was so lash and expensive, like something you’d find in a fairytale. Then again, her host seemed like something out of one too, a beast of a man who seemed to have a kind and generous heart.
Once dressed, she stepped out of her room towards the foyer, Kagome still in awe of the beautiful jewels and crystals that adorned the mountain castle. Brown hues spot the other there, Mystras’ appearance making her feel like he had been waiting for her. She stops before him, one hand holding her arm. Asking for shelter last night was one thing, but to ask to stay longer and further imposing on him was another. He had already done so much for her already in the less than twenty-four hours since her arrival, after all.
“Good morning, Sir Mystras.” Kagome says, speaking formally to him. She had assumed the title considering she saw all sorts of suits or armor and other knight-related items around. Plus, it was still a sign of respect regardless. “It seems like the storm hasn’t...subsided yet. So...would it be alright if I...stayed a bit longer? I-I promise I’ll do whatever I can to repay you, since I sort of lost all my money on the way here... I’m quite good at cooking, cleaning, and gardening!”
