Sinful. I miss your Dad-Vader stories and posts. Can I ask for more of those? The darker daddy is, the better. I love knowing Luke is miserable but just basking in his father's attentive care.
The world was passing him by. Luke knew this as he knew there were two suns on Tatooine. What he didn't want to admit, was like the twin suns, it was unlikely anything would change about it. He laid his head in his father's lap gazing out at the dark abyss of silent stars. It was quiet on the bridge and well past the time for any reasonable adult to get adequate sleep.
Luke knew soon he would be drifting off soon if his father continued to card his mechanical hand through his hair in the soothing fashion. Even the forced breathing noises coming from the suit were beginning to lull him.
Vader usually said nothing during these. . . bonding sessions. Was it bonding? Luke wondered. He stopped asking long ago and it just fell into routine to meet Vader here, kneel, and stay quiet as his father touched him like a prized pet.
It was all so strange. The Emperor's death just weeks ago, being thrusted into Royal life and training with THE Darth Vader who he was still coming to terms with being his father. While Luke fiddled with his thoughts, lost in a sea of doubts, confusion and bewilderment; Vader spent his time counting the days, planets and stars until they would all belong to Luke.
His Luke. His light. His Everything.
