Singe drawing

A thrilling process of drawing with string that’s been set on fire.

I tried to use thinner pieces of string and thread to influence the thickness of singe marks left on the paper, but it turns out the string is the perfect ply to keep burning consistently. Though it did start burning holes into the paper, but I like how the light can pass through the holes.
