The Harvest Moon Festival was always a special time for Wrathian Imps. One would think they'd be opposed to such a thing because of a Goetiatha, but no, they have held the festival for years now. Long before Striker even got brought along to join in the festivities, but instead of indulging in the games, he was backstage. Talking with his bandmates as they discussed which songs they should do. While another act performed before them, getting the crowd hyped.
All the while completely unaware of who might just be watching. Imps all around were just happy to enjoy and watch. This one in particular was some kind of pop act that got some cheers but not by much due to the genre. Those within wrath weren't really ones to indulge in such softness but this was meant in all good fun right?
Still their act would end the announcer would show himself.
"Now that we got that outta the way. Let's get to our headliner yes?" The crowd would cheer and holler. "Of course, of course! Ya know who and his band is! One of own flesh and blood! Striker and. . ." He'd read over the cue card. "Others? Y'all needa work on that name but here ya go!" Giving a bow would the announced leave just as the curtains opened to reveal three imps.
One on drums, another on bass, and one front in center with a guitar in hand and a mic in front of him as he'd give a grin towards the crowd who seemed well aquainted with who he was. "Thank ya, thank ya. Y'all seen us before so let's give ya something familiar. . . something ya'll might just be feelin'. " He'd turn back to the band and nod.
He'd start to play his guitar just as the drums played before singing out loud.
"One step, two step, electric slide
Red fish, blue fish, blow your mind
Engine, engine, number nine
Mama's gonna let you set the moon on fire."
Strumming his guitar some more before singing into the mic some more as he looked to the crowd.
"Jack be nimble, jack be quick, jack wound up with a broken neck
Humpty dumpty, do your thing
Daddy's gonna buy you a diamond ring."
Moving his body along to the beat as strummed and sung along. His band following suit as the crowd got hype even singing along for the next part likely knowing this song of his.
" Oh it must be nice, to spend each day in paradise
You wonder why you've never failed Your life's a goddamn fairy tale
Your life's a goddamn fairy tale!"
The song would continue on with him playing and singing at the same time keeping the crowd engaging even giving his own guitar solo during it. Several screams and yells coming form the crowd at the time until he was back to singing especially one specific part as he flipped them off.
"Stick your diamond ring where the sun don't shine."
Then just as quick as started would the song end. The crowd would cheer in waves asking for another song but the announcer would come in. "Hold on now folks! We got plenty of more acts! Let's give the fellas some time to relax--" The imp would blink a little as he'd sees someone familiar as eyes widened. "Is that KING MAMMON??!"
