been a while since i messed around on my acoustic! figured i'd dust off cobwebs with my favorite boygenius song. :)

cover is a half step down because i couldn't find my capo, and strings are (annoyingly) buzzy because they desperately need replacing.

*for my terror peeps (hi sailors!!), this song gives me huge goodcollins vibes in certain contexts. it'll be on a playlist i upload soon (wink), with a blurb about that.

psst. hey guys. i can sing again without hurting myself, as long as i'm careful! yay!!!!!! abdominal wall issues will not ruin my fun forever. >:)

anywho. this is a cover for @bell-swamp-fitzjames, who made a beautiful edit to this song and had the kindness to dedicate it to me. the crane wives as a band is a Huge One For Me, and Never Love an Anchor is a Terror anthem, imo. (it's what my main goodcollins chapfic is named after!!) i did record a previous cover of this earlier in the year, but wanted to do it again because of cig's lovely editing skills.

and cig? you're a fucking gem. a powerhouse of a person, a creative, and a friend. love you loads, bud.
