Some GAIA Gang Singing Headcanons. I wanted to do this for a long time and I think it's time that You know this headcanon of mine xD

Aloy: Aloy is totally off-key 😅 She doesn't know how to sing, and wouldn't sing neither with a spear near her neck, neither for a bet. Perhaps if She would lost a round of Strike with Erend but I don't know xD

Varl: As we know in Canon, thanks to Erend, that he sounds like a dying Longleg and I'll keep it, since I agree with Erend so... Sorry Varl xD

Erend: He sang only during the Drinking songs, however he Isn't much off-key, sometimes the Vanguards teased him about doing a drunken serenade at Aloy, and of course, he gave them a blazing look. In short: he can sing.

Zo: Zo is a Gravesinger, of course she does have a beautiful voice. She actually can reach higher notes and has such a sweet voice, like in Canon.

Kotallo: Kotallo won't sing unless he's very drunk, period. And when It happens, it's quite embarassing for him...

Alva: She Is very off-key sometimes, but loves to hear other sing, especially Zo.

Beta: Probably thanks to APOLLO, she had even voice lessons: on how to use the diaghrpram and to speak with It, and also can sing. Beta has a lovely voice but doesn't like to show up.

A Small Oingo Headcanon

Since he can change his voice, I feel like he would have tried to take on the challenge of switching between each of the voices in a song (like in Bohemian Rhapsody, duets, etc.) and practiced whenever he was alone, so much so that he’s now capable of switching between voices near-fluidly. 

It’s something that he takes pride in and will show off during karaoke (given that someone challenges him, or if he’s in a good mood).

Can they sing?

Yes, my dear, I headcanon that Kyoya can sing. I have a couple headcanon sets that talk about him singing but lemme talk about his wonderful singing here for ya. He has sang since he was very young, mostly just because of choir classes in school. But, since then, he’s just sang along to his favorite songs casually. I feel like, maybe during semester breaks or summer breaks, he learned to play at least one instrument because he just has so much free time. He sings a lot in the car and when he’s working on homework and when he paints. It’s not a passion, but it is a talent. He’s not gonna go out of his way to become a musician, but he will sing and hum just for the fuck of it because it’s fun in those moments.

More Kyoya Singing

ANOTHER SINGING POST (are you even surprised anymore)

I’m literally so obsessed with the idea that Kyoya can sing help

So we all know that Kyoya is extremely vocally talented ( ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ) (not like that but hey who wouldn’t immediately picture that)

I’m not the only person that’s said it so it must be canon

Anyway I believe that another one of Kyoya’s talents is he’s really good at vocal impressions

Not in the sense that like those YouTubers are (I.e. Brizzy) but like singing wise

He can kinda just turn on a redneck voice and sing any country song perfectly as if he was actually a redneck

He can sing opera too but he prefers not to most of the time. He really has to be in the mood for it.

He’s just very versatile when it comes to his singing abilities

Edit- He is lowkey embarrassed about his abitility to whip a redneck voice out of his back pocket but it tends to come out on the rare occasion that he gets drunk

Singer!Magnus headcanons

Just because I can to be honest ahfjjahfjs

He has always liked to sing but was/is very shy about it

He also lacks some confidence because a teacher once told him not to sing so loud in his school's mom's day presentation because he was too high pitched

Once Alex discovers he is surprised but doesn't talk much about it, just listens when magnus sings under his breath

Alex discovered because Magnus actually likes the song Fly me to The Moon and was singing along once

His voice is a bit sheepish and not very harmonical but he intends in practicing while in valhala

Sam is very supportive and tries to make room to listen to magnus audios on the rare occasions he feels confident enough to share with her

Magnus singing to Alex and other friends to calm them down? More likely than you think

Surprisingly (or not considering how much halfborn is enthusiastic about their friendship), the berserk asks Magnus to sing to him when he is feeling down or about to have a rage wave

He likes more indie, calm songs than rock ones, but sings to more chaotic tunes when he feels like it

His mom was really supportive and gave him his first discman so he could listen to cds and try to practice

Natalie sings too and she was the one who taught him how to breath right when singing so he wouldn't be out of breath

He gets sad listening to songs his mom used to sing to him to lure him into sleep but has worked through it as the years passed and now just feels very nostalgic

He was (still is) a musical theater kid

Minutemen legend has it that, one night shortly after reclaiming the Castle, Preston “Actual Cinnamon Roll” Garvey got roaring drunk and spontaneously started belting out The Wanderer along with the radio and it was INCREDIBLE and everyone was like HOLY FUCK WHO IS THIS MAN, except they were all plastered as well so the details are a bit fuzzy (some people swear there were dance moves). Anyway, Preston denies any memory of this event and no one has been able to get a repeat performance out of him since.

Baz can play the violin right?

So what if Simon could sing really well. But like no one knows- not even Penny

-and one day a song he likes comes on in the car and he starts singing it

-Baz almost crashes the car because sweet son of a scone Simon sounds amazing

- “What the hell snow????”

-Simon being confused af becuase he was just singing?? What’s everyones problem?

-so Baz just turns around and marches him back to the apartment and grabs Penny and is like “okay now do the thing”

-he does the thing

-Penny is just taken aback becuase are you telling her she could have had someone singing along to those Hamilton songs all along?

-Simon Luaghing his ass off because everyone is just so in awe of him

-every now and then perfectly sings a song out if the blue and everyone just being “Oh yeah”

Sorry if this sucks it’s three am but yeah. Simon can sing like a fricking Disney Princess, fight me.
