Especially because this fandom is so big and loud about so many other cool things that some of their smaller cute things might get lost in the sea of voices, so I love having a little place to point at them and yell about how great they are and how much I love them lol

Happy Birthday, Harry James Potter. 

 She hadn’t slept in two days so neither had he. Ginny had been away for two weeks in training with the Holy Heads so the children had been fully under his watch when Lily had sparked a fever. The James and Teddy helped with cold compresses and comfort but Harry had sent then to Ron and Hermione’s as to not spread infection. Finally after hours of reading and crying and coughing Lily had fallen into a fitful sleep on his chest. Harry had been to tired to move her and risk her waking so he read anything in reach until he too fell asleep, a beat up copy of Quidditch Through The Ages on his lap. He had forgotten that Ginny would arrive that evening, ready to shower and see her loving husband, preparing for the loud day of family to come. She entered their room to find two of her loves sleeping and she smiled. The clock struck 12 and she picked up her daughter and pushed the book back into the shelf.
“Happy Birthday, love.” Ginny whispered, kissing Harry’s forehead and turned out the light.

Literally! I saw the trailer and went “oh lord no” - Nancy is supposed to be campy fun not edgy weirdness

Exactly! Give me Pushing Daisies-style bright colours and fun and sincere sweetness that does nothing to diminish the suspense of the mysteries they’re solving.
