Eifel Whisky 746.9 "Peak" Single Peated Malt (12 years old) is the flagship product of the Eifel Whisky Distillery in Koblenz. The name of the "746.9" series is a direct homage to the Hohe Acht, the highest mountain in the Eifel, at 746.9 metres.
Behind the project is owner and master blender Stephan Mohr. The aim is not to create a "Scottish imitation," but rather an independent style with regional roots.
The "Peak" is a whisky for explorers.
