On the corner of your desk, buried under a pile of papers, there’s a small brown box that says ‘Nomad’ in gold cursive, locked with a silver chain. You can’t quite remember how it got there, bu you’re more than willing to open it.

Character Prompt #2

A sassy, mute child with a bob haircut. It’s clear that they hate the haircut as much as everybody else does, but boy, do they work it.

Prompt #3

The carpet is just slightly dusty, and it makes him sneeze. His friend, sitting right next to him, laughs before sneezing as well. The friend rolls over and hits him on the arm, and he keeps sneezing.

For a while, they sit next to each other, the friend cuddled up next to him. The peace that settles over them tells them that they won’t ever have to be anything more, because they are perfect the way they are.
