I think the singular form of sheep should be shoop, like how the singular form of geese is goose

one thing i still don't understand about english is why pants are plural like who wears a pant? no one, then why call it pants instead of pant? why do you see it as a pair instead of one piece of clothing? i know this sounds ridiculous but as an arabic speaker what i am saying makes sense to me
