It takes about two months after he gets back to UA to realize they are, in fact, not stress induced figments of his imagination.

🥺 Is there a certain type of moment or common interaction between your characters that never fails to put you in your feels?

I really like moments where characters rescue one another in some way, whether it's from an unpleasant interaction or from a life or death situation. In particular I'm a big fan of the first rescue, the sense of relief and then the immediate awkwardness. There's just a lot of good emotional stuff going on.

🛒 What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc.

Even from back in my Barduil-only days I was really attached to exploring the idea of things never being the same, but still being good. That definitely shows up in a lot of my longfics, in one way or another. I also get into horror pretty regularly, even if it's existential horror (I put Tomura's situation in needle compass north in that category).

🧠 Pick a character, and I'll tell you my favorite headcanon for them.

I'm guessing this is for Tomura, and my favorite Tomura headcanon really depends on the day! I think my favorite headcanon right now is that he's just extremely blunt. He's not a character who lies or manipulates or even really thinks about the most polite way to phrase it -- he just says what he thinks, even when there are consequences. It makes him fun to write.

🤯 What's a genre you struggle with as a writer (ex. romance, action, etc.)?

Honestly, fluff is hard for me! I'm not against including bits of fluff, but I find it hard to generate the right kind of tension for a slice-of-life fic. Then again, the mafia fic I'm trying to write is kicking my ass, so maybe mafia as a genre.

Before the first Harbinger, quirk singularity doomsday theory was just that - a theory. Sure, everyone knew quirks were getting more powerful, but the idea of them getting world-endingly dangerous was apparently laughable. Nobody paid much attention when someone with a foresight quirk predicted that four cataclysmic events, all linked to uncontrollably powerful quirks, would occur leading up to the singularity point, bringing about the end of humankind. It was alarmist fearmongering to believe, or so your textbook said. The first Harbinger changed everything.

It wasn't just one person's quirk. It was dozens, or hundreds, activating in the same moment all across the world and twisting life into incomprehension. The world reeled, rocked on its axis, and somehow recovered, or so you were told. And then it happened again.

The first and second Harbingers occurred before you were born. The third was when you were thirteen, one year before your quirk awakened. One left before the end of everything, and if it's the end of everything, there's no need to rush it, right? Even if you had the kind of power Shigaraki Tomura wielded, there wouldn't be a point in using it. Not when the end is extremely fucking nigh already.
