Can you play me a memory?
@sinher asked ❛ of all the idiots in the world, i'm stuck with you. ❜
the corners of his lips quirked upward in amusement at her words before a hum came from the vampire. ❝ ----- you know, most people would take offense to that, but i don't. ❞ he responded, soon folding his arms over his chest as he looked at her. ❝ so question.... what makes me an idiot in the first place? ❞

prior to all the SHIT that went down, sara loved the drive through hope county. she’s only lived in cities so being out in the county was a nice break from the chaos of city life. you can tell by her smile in the short that she’s genuinely at peace during the drive, taking in the scenery, and simply enjoying the moment. part of her has always imagined living in a small town like the ones in hope county and growing up in a small town community. if she were to ever start a family moving out to the country would definitely be on the table.
@sinher / continued from here
You’ll never be alone again.
The words nearly bring tears to Sara’s eyes. To hear someone say it aloud, to know someone cares, fills her with a hope she hasn’t felt in years. Not since she first met Alex and Hannah---her first family.
Sara relishes in the embrace, enjoying the brief moment of the other woman’s warmth and offers her a weak, nearly sheepish, smile when she holds her at arm’s length. Bambi is the first of the Father’s flock she’s met and if this is how kind they all are then Sara knows she’s made the right choice.
“Thank you... You have no idea how much that means...”
