How long had it been since his own betrayal?   Months, years, centuries?  Dar’Khan wasn’t sure and quite frankly... he doubted the time would make any difference whatsoever.  His betrayal and original death was one thing - the one’s that came after were no doubt unfortunate events.

Even someone such as he could admit to that much.  Such was the life and no doubt times of on who betrayed their own people,  attempted betrayal once more, and was cursed to be the very thing that killed a fair portion of his own people.  Were they his people after his betrayal to them?  Debatable,  but it wasn’t like he actually cared about that now.

“And here I thought that the only unfortunate circumstances would be some lesser coming for my head.   If I knew you would have shown up?  I would have dressed for the occasion.”

            how  should  one  feel  when  met  with  the  face  of    . . .    one  they’d  thought  long  dead  and  gone                   and  a  good  riddance  it  had  been .     

            anger  comes  first ,    and  rightfully  so .     his  betrayal ,    what  he  had  done  to  their  people ,    the  dangerous  path  he  had  led  them  down  under  the  guise  of  helping  them  after  they’d  lost  everything .     she  had  cast  aside  her  reluctance  and  had  trusted  him  as  she  had  trusted  his  father  before  him             they  all  had             and  he  threw  them  to  the  legion’s  wolves  for  his  own  personal  gain .     some  of  them ,    herself  included ,    are  not  blameless  in  the  path  they  chose  after  silvermoon’s  fall  but  he  had  been  the  spark  that  lit  the  wildfire  that  had  consumed  them  all .

            yet ,    somehow ,    pity  worms  its  way  into  her  heart .     he  had  fallen  so  far  ;    she  wonders  if  he  continues  to  do  so  even  in  death .

It was one thing know what was and what was not.  It was  another to know what transpired;  yet even so there were several contradictory sides to every story.  Some of them far more difficult to grasp than others.

In this case,  Xeoth knew to keep an open mind. As well as the fact to  hold his judgement for other more pressing matters.  Therefore, he’d attempt to be on his best behavior for the time being... if such a thing was possible.

“It’s reasonability,” no that was not the word he was looking for, but it was far too late now to change it, “that’s what it’s the matter of. Not ability.”

Bolvar knew he’d see quite familiar faces in the Shadowlands. Some of them he wished he could forget and others... that were surprising. In this case, he knew he had to take things quite carefully; not only was this delicate... it also could pose potential problems. More so because Bolvar did control a fair portion of the scourge and he was (until recently) the Lich King. That alone no doubt was cause for concern... along with other matters... such as his Death Knights who loved doing things on their own. Without approval.

“--- You’ve seen far better days.” Not exactly the smooth opening he was going for, but Bolvar was going to be cautious... for now at least. “Or is this simply another setback?”
