which sinner is the dancing queen? (ballroom dancing limbus hcs)
ok so we call know canto 3 features resident German boy busting it down but what if the sinners were invited to a ball? and had to dance even more(for business purposes obviously)?
Yi Sang
- honestly he probably knows how to waltz or do formal dances like that… like someone in the old league of 9 probably teased him about waltzing and then forced him to learn it
- but it’s either fancy dances or nothing with this guy (unless u count foot tapping with the beat while he awkwardly stands there)
- would probably somehow end up with an instrument in his hands and would demurely vibe out
Faust
- “faust knows all outcomes” Faust knows all dances too… does not mean she’s good at them
- would probably do some nice little waltzes with yi sang/other people in the room; could do ballet or colorguard (although that’s not ballroom stuff)
- very elegant and sharp with her dancing
- would often pull up beside dante to get intel constantly; prefers that over dancing
DON QUIXOTE
- always wants to get someone to join her, enough if they’re twice her size; pretty patient with someone if they’re not as experienced and adapts well
- great at salsa and square dancing for some reason; excellent endurance
- great singer too, she can be the whole orchestra at this point; would tell the orchestra to play more upbeat music
- not the biggest fan of slow dancing
- would be snatching food with another sinner (sinclair probably) and giggling about it
Ryōshū
- alright at dancing, more interested in seeing how others dance
- would double team with outis to give dancing advice in passing
- will dance with her weapons, looks very graceful while doing so
- great dancing instructor for kids
- do not step on her feet (she may step on yours)
Meursault
- will only dance if he’s ordered to (and if you tell him what kind)
- great dancing partner tho, would probably be ordered to by don or dante
- would probably rather be in the orchestra/looking for business related info than “having fun” as his coworkers say
- unfortunately he’ll probably have to deal with rich people trying to flirt with him
Hong Lu
- very awesome contender for dancing king
- extremely majestic in almost any form of dancing
- great dance partner as well; very patient and helpful for dancing tips; probably dancing with don
- probably networking half the time knowing he’s going to forget everyone the next day unless it’s someone important
- all dressed up for the event too
Heathcliff
- has to be forced into dancing. like literally dragged by his coworkers whining and grumbling in his fancy outfit.
- but when he dances he clocks it lowk
- like he’s super into it. he doesn’t really know what he’s doing but he’d probably catch a lot of eyes
- he knows a bit about formal dancing given Wuthering Heights too but he doesn’t really like it; will refuse to waltz with people
- occasionally thinks he sees Cathy in the distance and immediately straightens his posture, etc. rodion thinks he’s somewhat drunk
- inspecting food w/ rodya and don
Ishmael
- uncomfy dancing alone, will reluctantly do so if it’s with a coworker she trusts; will decline if it’s a random person
- sticks nearby dante and begins making up small talk to avoid dancing with people
- stunning dancing potential but she also doesn’t like messing up and embarasing herself esp in front of someone else
- tries to hide in the back, feels like she doesn’t really belong (although seeing some rowdy happy people reminds her of Queequeg and crew)
Rodya
- will bust a nice folk jig if no one’s really looking, otherwise she’ll just copy what the current dance is
- she’s lowk pulling things from her head because she didn’t learn formal dances; more so looking to enjoy what feels like a vacation
- would try to encourage the shy sinners to dance with her and would cheer them on as they dance
- not too bad of a dancing partner but may accidentally step on people’s shoes… other than that probably a party favorite
- snatching up food w/ don and heath, taking photos with yi sang
Outis
- surprisingly invested in all the dancing of her coworkers, probably encouraging them all to be “productive” by “making use of themselves” around the ballroom
- instructing others who can’t dance well w/ ryō; making sure they (yi sang) actually follow through and dance
- great at folk dancing, tap dance, and a bit of a ballet too
- “i used to attend balls with my regimen on occasion”
Sinclair
- go sinner go
- shy at first but like heathcliff, gets super into it
- will get on top of a table if he’s hyped up enough, will get instruments and use them while dancing
- extremely red while breakdancing and can’t tell until he’s all tuckered out after crowdsurfing
- don’s his hypewoman and it works very well (“do not stop thy vivid movements, inspirational and good Sinclair! as then youth say, ‘mog’ thine enemies!”)
- probably ends up collapsed in someone’s arms mumbling about “if only calw could see me now” and “am i disowned yet?”
Gregor
- too old for this bruh
- all decked out courtesy of hong lu and rodion
- creak creak creak “rodion I can’t dance my back hurts” after attempting the worm
- “i think i dislocated my left kneecap” (outis pops it back in for him)
- he decides to stay with dante, meur, and ish for most of the night but goes to dine with rodion and co.
