Lee's story, part 1
"Woman"
Lyra was passionate about her father's work and dreamed of becoming a soldier. However, she already knew since childhood that she couldn't achieve that as a woman.
So at the age of 12 she cuts her hair, runs away from home and takes on a name "Luther". She lies to her father that her mother forced her to pretend to be a girl and hid her from him so that he wouldn't take her and she wouldn't end up in the war. It works and her father takes her with Lee, sending her to military training. To make her voice sound lower, like a man's, she starts smoking.
The events of the comic take place after, when Lee's father finds out her true gender four years later.
