Children shrieked, some growled and grumbled, others hollered with glee. A group darted past Gregory like leaves on a windy day and he swayed to let them pass. Snorting to himself, he pulled a rag out of his back pocket and started to wipe down abandoned machines.
The pretty little blonde standing near one hadn’t gone unnoticed. He gave her a sidelong scrutinizing glance before motioning to the machine with his chin.
“You know that machine only works if you put quarters in it?”
