I've recently started playing around with DAZ Studio to create references for OCs, I honestly couldn't be happier with the results.

The top row I've painted over to get them as close as possible to what i was imagining (and also add textures like tattoos and scars).

Bottom row is a screenshot straight from the viewport, it makes me really happy not worrying about how anatomy will look in profile ever again lol.
