Sometimes, my mind wanders towards the heavens, and I dream that I could be 女媧, the goddess who mended the sky when the pillars of the universe caved.

The top of Pen y Fan reminds me of Kundera. There is a beautiful quote in The Unbearable Lightness of Being: "The brain appears to possess a special area which we might call poetic memory and which records everything that charms or touches us, that makes our lives beautiful..." I never finished reading that book, but I remember this quote indelibly. It has etched a cadence into my poetic memory.
