adam: laying on his back he looks over at the tv trying his best to pay attention to what's playing even though they mainly put it on so no one would hear them. "thanks for staying over i really needed this." he admits, glad that the two don't have to part ways tonight. it has been hard having to stay home all the time but not being able to see or talk to her as much did put a bit of a damper on his mood. leaning over he kisses the top of her head before settling back into his spot. watching the tv for a moment longer he lets out a chuckle. "okay be honest do you really like this movie or did you pick something random?"

Darcy was just nodding as Heather spoke, sitting across from each other at the table. Heather was too smart for her to keep up with so it was better just to let her friend talk and feign brains than be reminded how dumb Darcy was. “Uh-huh,” she agreed, her curls brushing her shoulders as her head bobbed again. She glanced down at the tray of fries, poking at it with a fork.

          “ heather ! just the gal i was looking for ! ” it was about halfway through his first day back to school and already , he felt like this was a mistake. well kinda. he’d missed normal , but this ? this wasn’t normal. not the pain or pitiful glances. or having to crack jokes for other people’s comfort. usually the guy who couldn’t get enough of the spotlight , jt was starting to realize it was getting old fast. but heather ! oh , heather he could count on to shoot the shit. “ i’m begging you , please bully me or crack a. joke at my expense. i’d get on my hands and knees , but , uh , i’d rather not open old wounds. pun intended. ”

“Can I say that I enjoy the color of your dress without getting slugged?” He teased as he walked up to Heather. It wasn’t like him to approach her, since usually he always felt a bit out of place talking to her or trying to get on her nice side. But since hanging around Terri, he’d found out a few things, and if she was her friend, then he figured he should at least try to be friendly. “No worries, I’m not here to get info on my competition for prince.
