my mother just shattered something in the fucking kitchen
i think there is beauty in missing things that are forever gone and are never gonna be the same. i used to hate it, stuff changing, things breaking and having to replace them with new items. but if we had the same stuff forever, unbreakable and time resistant, life would be a hell of a bore. we would beg for a change. few years ago i was completely resistant to losing things, now i’m more sensetive about it, but i remind myself that losing things, replacing them or not, being in a new environment is what makes life exciting. nostalgia is painful, still holding on even though you don’t think about it often is painful. and yes, probably a glass breaking triggered me to write this post, but i remember crying when my parents changed the chandelier in our apartment when i was little so, what’s new.
trust the process
well i didn’t record shit, because there was always a “but” and i had other things to do. it’s fine, i’ll do it soon. after some lurking on yt i saw that someone looked up “trust the process song” and that’s how they played my song. idk if it’s a sign or if youtube is fucking with me, but whatever. i’ll convince myself that it’s a sign.
about the mixtape
this week i plan on creating the official tracklist for my debut mixtape and next week i’ll record all of them cause they’re mostly done i just need to find the right instrumentals for each song cause you knooow it’s gonna be the kind of mixtape that people made back in the day, so taking already existing songs and putting your own spin on them, kind of like those early 00′s hip hop mixtapes.
