SIOOM technically has everything that I want from an idol group. Everyone is cute, their costumes in the live were awesome, you can tell their voices apart easily and they can dance. But I was SO disappointed in their cover of C/C. The instrumental that they were singing to was like several songs had been put in a Ninja Personal Blender and then haphazardly poured into a dollar store mug, with most of it spilling onto the counter. Why they do my girls like that?

Listening to the SIOOM version of C/C makes me think each girl just individually sang how she wanted and the office stitched something together from 5 solo versions. Like there is no overarching artistic direction of how they wanted to the song to sound like. There was one part where it went from Risamaru to Maa and the difference in interpretation gives me whiplash.
