Last one from this Africa trip: and it’s not even a building (😱). The fancy Sofitel beach resort in the northeastern corner of the island of Bioko keeps the floodlights on the golf course and seafront promenade lit late into the night, I guess for security, as the Vice President (who just happens to be the son of the guy who has been President since August 1979!) lives nearby. Anyway it gave me a chance to practice some (handheld, tripod-less) night photography on the majestic Ceiba trees lining the greens and the beach, which are the national symbol.
