My mind is blown that we might be this close to AGI and all the radical changes it portends.  

The world might be getting really weird, wild, fascinating, unnerving, disorienting and unpredictable in the near term for all of us.

If dealing with change is still a major general problem in individuals, institutions, and societies, then holy hell, I’m not sure how we’re going to manage when maximal disruption becomes normal.  It might feel like the sudden ubiquitous appearance of an alien presence.
