sir m’s design took me forever to settle on,

this was the first iteration of it (accompanied by his body guards)! i knew i wanted him to be unnaturally tall and a big case of strabismus since that’s what most extrasensorials have in genesis in paris. i thought he didn’t stand out enough though.

another idea i had for him was for his aura to be so incredibly massive that it obscures his physical body and people perceive him in different unique ways. this is still the case in the comic, but i couldn’t find a way to make it consistent. now the overwhelming aura only affects people on rare occasions.

these were the first illustrations of him when i settled on a face i liked. i wanted him to look like... intimidating, but not Too much

i really wanted him to have plain clothes but didn’t know what to settle on just yet. the crown went very well with the saint’s crown and added a bit of flair to otherwise simple outfits, and served well to hide his sensitive eyes and nose.

i ended up settling on a very simple black outfit that makes him, imo, rather intimidating since he’s this really tall, large black rectangle of a man. i went with fine white lace to decorate it just to show that he has the money and taste to be a little fancy. this picture of him with Nathaniel and Fleurs was the first real iteration of this outfit!

Sir M Relationships, Basically: His "New" Family

(Sorry for the hiatus).

Mimi: That one big sister that spoils you or the one girl who treats you like a boytoy. She ain't interested in him being a damn slave, more like the cutest servant to exist. But she does care about him in a way and views him as a pathetic but adorable little brother who he's close to. She made the Sad Box, which Sir M hides in.

O'Chunks: That one fun uncle. He has a habit of unintentionally going rough on him, such as patting him on the back too hard or squishing him when trying to give a headpat. Despite this, he considers Sir M to be strong. But sometimes, he may call Sir M "Maria". Even when he's Sir M or Mario. They have a healthy relationship... well, kind of the only one as he doesn't understand his tears.

Nastasia: "... I think... maybe I was too cruel on him... my plan... it worked too well..."

The Count: "... would my love really want this? Timpani..." Dimentio: Best friends as Sir M nicknames him "Dimi" and they hang out a lot... for sure. :)

Mimi made Sir M this. He's her toyboy/plaything. Yet she claims he's cute and for him to call her "Big Sis Mimi". That weirdness... will come soon, lol-

But here's one thing: Sir M (aka Brainwashed Mario) hides in there. It's like his little fortress. Especially when he's sad or thinking no one should be near him.
