👗 + marian during her wedding

I made a quick sketch for this because I couldn't find pictures that looked close enough to what I imagine

The inspo :

Marian doesn't have an eye for fashion and honestly she'd rather get around in practical clothes but when she has to wear dresses she favors high necks, loose fits and big sleeves, not because she's modest but because it's super comfy.

For her wedding dress she goes for something opulent, which is not her usual style at all, but she knows she can use it as a statement. In this case the statement is "fuck everyone who thought I'd never marry and also I reconciled with my dad who happens to be the richest man around here, in case you've forgotten."

Her dress would have the shape she favors with very expensive materials, I'm fairly sure she marries in winter and in King's Landing so it'd have white fur as well. Some red lining bc Lannister of course and a shit ton of golden embroidery representing suns & lions. The dress is technically white but the sheer amount of gold thread would make it look golden from afar.

Her hair is rather short so she'd wear it in a simple style with golden jewellery in it. And of course the cape with her House's sigil.

it’s interesting bc tbh i haven’t pondered them as much as i should have BUT i think they’d actually be so different from canon!qunjon ?? i could see them actually hooking up at winterfell bc there’s no worries about fathering any bastards lmao

however i do sort of wonder why ser quinn would BE at winterfell if we’re assuming this is similar to canon, but i could see himself swindling an invite purely through charm at court ++ a desire to see somewhere he’s never been before 🤷 if he’s not bound by the responsibilities of needing to return back early i could see him asking lord tyrion if he could tag along on the journey to see the wall just so that he could have more time to rizz jon up…

jon would be having a tremendous amount of bi panic 😭😭 he would not know WHAT to do with all the attention especially bc he’s more unaware of his own attraction to men vs quinn who has def had lovers of every gender back in king’s landing

god theres actually like so many layers to this one bc quinn WOULD be the heir to the golden tooth in this scenario as well ??? and tbfh he’d actually be the type of son i think leo could be “proud” of even if the dynamic there is still def fucked up…

Omg omg YES my tortured mother/son dynamic. Averil adores his mother...or at least the version of her that he used to know. She's elegant, she's powerful, she's intelligent. They're mirrors of one another. But then there are the horrors of his siblings' parentage. It rocked Averil's world. His beautiful lioness of a mother was forever tainted. And HE as the perfect little heir was tainted for her as well. He comes to her in tears saying he had this horrible dream and she immediately shuts him out. She couldn't trust the volatile little storyteller, the sickly babe that defied all odds, the boy she raised, to not keep that secret. From 13 to when he leaves around 17/18, their relationship is strained. Because of Cersei, his title was stripped. His dignity disappeared. All respect towards him washed away and, ironically, he was seen as no better than a bastard. They both love each other, Cersei would still move mountains for him. But it's hard for her to trust him. And it's hard for him to like her.

Of course!! 🤍 They each have two, chosen from the Riverlords; Aly’s are Ser Axel Darry and Ser Elmo Piper and Cat’s are Ser Kermit Bracken and Ser Tristifer Mallister.

Ser Axel Darry, born 257 AC, is the younger brother of Ser Jonothor Darry of King Aerys’ Kingsguard. He is generally considered honest and clever, and Alyssandra describes him as a kind man, although she also says he is brave with his blade. okok so i know we cannot talk about hookups for nik bc he is our demi king, but what about platonic nik x cerelle? i imagine them meeting in the riverlands during the war and absolutely not trusting each other

THIS ABSOLUTELY!!! Nik would NOT trust Cerelle at all at first and I imagine Cerelle would be on guard and not trust him either but ESPECIALLY cause nik refuses to reveal his face or take off his mask so there’s an added unease of not knowing who this man is at ALL.

What I find so fun about them is how they’re half siblings but also tethered to the stranger and are both very very Robin Hood coded!! But while Cerelle is loved by the smallfolk, Nik is more of a scary boogeyman that you use to scare your children into eating your veggies and going to bed LMAO

Nik’s a healer as well, he patches people up! So I can see that if Cerelle ever got injured during the war, he’d probably patch Cerelle up and help her with that🥺🫶

Fun fact cause I don’t think this is really spoilers cause I’ve spoken about it before: Nik leaves Robb’s camp to chase Jaime after Catelyn let him free (to drag him back to camp), but during his time away, the Red Wedding occurs and thru a series of events, he ends up at King’s Landing! So Cerelle and Nik would get so much time to interact with one another!

(Omg yes 👀 canonly, nik believes the “rumors” of Cersei’s kids being Jaime’s and he also knew for a long time that he was also jaimes so it would just be a matter of nik finding out Cerelle is the lost princess 👀)

And then they fall in love??? And then I was reading an ask dippy answered about being the worst Lannister in asoiaf because they'd fold immediately to Robb, and i was like yes. yes that is it. And Eleyna was born. Well. She was Cecily at that point but then I just felt like Lady Cecily Lannister was a mouthful and changed it

Literally just a quiet evening. No duties, no meetings. Just hiding out in their chambers — Kaelith with wine that Jon probably refuses to go near ("that's way too strong to be normal wine," aka he's a pussy with alcohol).
