Prompt 11 - Ratio
@wolfstarmicrofic May 11, word count 262
“What do you mean the ratio is off? It’s perfectly fine, Remus!” Sirius scoffed as he continued to pour vodka into the giant bowl on the table in front of him.
“You need more mixers, or it’s going to be like drinking petrol,” Remus sighed in exasperation, tugging at his hair as he grimaced at the concoction Sirius was mixing.
“Exactly, perfect for getting you blathered extra fast,” Sirius beamed happily, as he opened another bottle of vodka and proceeded to dump the entire contents into the bowl.
“It needs a warning label,” Remus muttered under his breath and walked out of the room. Sirius stuck out his tongue at him and shook the last few drops out of the bottle.
Remus came running back in and upended six full cartons of mixed berry juice into the bowl.
“NOOOOO! What are you doing?!” Sirius wailed as he tried to grab the cartons, but Remus was too quick for him.
“Try it now,” Remus ordered. Sirius did as he was told and ladled some of the liquid into a cup. He took a sip and was surprised. It was good. Really good. You could still taste the vodka, but the berry was sweetly refreshing.
“Genius. Here, you have a taste now,” Sirius grinned and launched himself on Remus, kissing him over and over until he was certain Remus could taste nothing but the drink they’d made. “Right,” Sirius said, sitting up. “Best get ready, our guests will be arriving soon,” He leant over and kissed the tip of Remus’s nose before bounding away.
