GROUNDBREAKING. HISTORY-MAKING.
hello there :) I was wondering if you could give some advice and tips on running a queue? what times are best? how many posts? what is the best way to keep it full? sometimes it seems impossible to keep it from running out >_< thank you!!!
oooh okay mmmhm let me see. well advice is difficult because it’s really about finding a way to fit it around your schedule and however much you have time to reblog, so instead i’ll just explain how i do it and hopefully that’ll help?
i tend to use my phone to queue. i’ll just kinda absent mindedly scroll whenever i’m watching something on netflix or whatever. i have a lot of spare time, so i have my queue set on 40 a day (lmao) but sometimes when i’m a bit more busy than usual i change that to 30 or 20 (depending on how busy i am). i’d say the minimum that i’d be happy with is 15 a day. my times are set from midnight to midnight because then i have a higher chance of catching people across the timezones.
but a useful way to approach it if you’re finding that you’re running out of posts too quickly is 1) try messing around with how many you post a day. bring it down a little at a time to see which number works best for you blog. 2) try to remember that number - if you’re queue is set to post, say, 15 times a day, then try to reblog about 20 posts a day on average. that way you’ll always have enough for the next day at least plus some more to build a bit of lag just in case you have a bit less time another day.
sorry if any of that didn’t make sense / if this doesn’t really help, but a queue is really so specific and has to be tailed around your blogging style !!
“I am sorry too,” said Lupin. "Sorry I will never know him – but he will know why I died and I hope he will understand. I was trying to make a world in which he could live a happier life.“
