006. which yet-to-be-started fic is first on your list? ummm, i don’t know if it’s FIRST on my list but it’s the only fic that i haven’t started at all which is a buddie canon divergent fic starting from 2.02 (i am being intentionally vague lol)

007. will you change anything about the way you interact with other writers? continue to express my utmost love and admiration for my fave writers through comments, fic recs, and general flailing. 

008. is there a story idea in your mental vault that you’ve never been brave enough to try writing? is this the year? can you tell us about it? ummm, not sure that i have any fics i haven’t been “brave” enough to write, just a bunch of fics i haven’t had the motivation to work on or finish. i still kind want to write a derek POV one shot for taste your beating heart 

009. short term goals… what do you hope to complete this week or in january? man i am STILL hoping to finish @eddiesdiaz‘s fic prompt from earlier this summer!! my original goal was to finish it over this break but ... here we are and i’ve done no writing this week! the fic is currently around ~5k so 🙃

010. will you keep a record of all the fics you write and/or post this year? my ao3 and my kat writes tag are basically the only way i track what i write 

011. would you like to try any new fanfic genres or tropes this year? not that i can think of atm! 

012. will you change anything about the way you edit or rewrite this year? nahhh i kind of like my routine. i work on the fic and kind of keep it to myself (other than maybe doing an ask meme or whatever on tumblr) and then once my first draft is done i share it with @crazyassmurdererwall. at that point i’m mortified by my own writing so i won’t look at the fic for the entire time until alli read’s through it, and THEN i’ll go through her notes and edit, rework, re-edit, etc until i finally post. 

013. aside from fanfic, are there any other fan works you’d like to try creating? fanart, or fanvids, gifsets, or podfic? not really a “new” form of fan work, but i’ll continue to make gifsets. and who knows, maybe one day i’ll make another fanvid (i think i’ve made ... 2 or 3 in my life??)
