Surprise
@sirotabekaltin
Yuri had been planning on visiting Kazakhstan for awhile now, it was just the whole, actually telling Otabek about it part that he failed to do. Every time he tried to bring it up, he backed out and said something else instead. Which made this whole situation much more awkward because now he was standing outside of Otabek’s apartment, staring down at his phone wondering if he should knock or text him.
The blonde finally sighed and messaged the elder, finding himself too nervous to knock on the door. What if it was the wrong door? But it couldn’t be because he’d sent plenty of letters and packages to this address, so it had to be his, considering Otabek received the things he sent each time.
[Text: Beka] Hey. So...I think there’s something at your door.
The teen finally messaged him, not even sure if the Kazakh was home or not.
Yuri!! In Space
@sirotabekaltin
Yuuri was a Trans-Galactic Reclaimer. The job wasn't glamourous and he definitely wasn't a hero, though the title sounded cool enough. Basically he was a junk guy. His job was to go into old stations or colonies and collect the good junk and dispose of the bad junk. Good junk usually included things like computer parts that were fuctional, undamaged cargo, and documents. Bad junk was everything else: trash, damaged parts, and ruined cargo. He would then get paid for the amount of good junk that he brought back. Sometimes it was a good haul, other times it stunk. But this was what Yuuri did, and he figured himself too run-of-the-mill to do anything better. So that's why he was here, approaching an old, run down space station in orbit around a small, rocky moon. Apparently, it had been out of commission for quite a while and no one had even touched it yet. Unless pirates had gotten to it (which it didn't look like) then it should be a potential goldmine. Yuuri was kind of excited. From the looks of what information he had on the defunct space station, it had mostly been a giant laboratory for genetics. The tech in there would probably net him enough credits to live on easy street for the next few years! Yuuri piloted his small ship closer to the station and easily docked. Making sure he was properly suited up in his flight suit and helmet, he made his way out of his ship and glanced around. It was pitch black. The only light shining from his ship in its dock. He clicked a button on his helmet, causing a flashlight to turn on. Okay, first order of business was to find the control room and get some power going. With any luck, there would still be some juice in the old generators. If not, an extra powercell, good enough for a couple hours of power, was strapped to his belt. He also carried a small gun attached to the side of his thigh... just in case. Sometimes you could run into pirates... or worse. Yuuri used a small computer on his wrist to map out the station, pinpointing exactly where the control room was. It wasn't too far from the dock. That was a relief. Stepping carefully, Yuuri began making his way through the darkened hallways towards the control bridge.
Terrifying “Twin”
Cold fingers slowly slip away from the male’s neck, holding two fingers up in front of Otabek’s face, silently asking for a cigarette to be placed between his fingers. His favorite part of being feared by humans was his ability to get whatever he wanted out of them. He could have no intention of eating Otabek, but he didn’t know that, nor would he find out.
He lets his other hand rest against Otabek’s waist, his tongue tracing his lips as he waits for the shaken human to give him what he wants.
College Secrets
@sirotabekaltin
No one said college was going to be easy, especially with what Yuuri had planned on majoring in. A lot was expected, and he had projects due soon. He highly doubt his professors would cut him any slack this deep into the semester.
Since his roommate decided it was the perfect time to host a party Yuuri made his way to the quiet walls of the library, not sure what was on his roommate’s mind since this was the best time to be hitting the books not concerning one’s self with mingling with the other campus students.
Or maybe Yuuri just felt that way since he was never huge on keeping a large crowd of friends, he happened to go to the same campus as his old friend Phichit but he had other things to do. So right now, Yuuri was stuck on his own for the moment.
A heavy left his lips, sitting at one of the few desks in the campus library going through his calculus text book. Usually he’d understand the work quickly, since he never really had any issues with the subject but now his brain just seemed to refuse to cooperate. He clutched the temples of his head and just mumbled to himself with his eyes closed, ‘’I really to calm down before I lose it...’’.
Black and White
Bright spotlights turned on overhead, lighting up the glistening untouched ice that had been smoothed between early afternoon to that evening. A faint crowd was murmuring, a muffled sound of someone calling out a name. A shining flash went by through a camera shot as someone skated themselves to the center of the rink.
It was a women’s singles competition that was being broadcasted from France. Scores would count towards the Women’s Singles competition of the Grand Prix Final. Her pulse was rushing and her legs somewhat felt like they were shaking a small amount. Closed eyes slowly opened as green eyes surrounded by white sparkling makeup on one side and a black shimmer on the other in a bolder style. Two sides of one coin, black and white. The theme could always be altered in wording, and there was no issue as long as it was the same idea.
The Short Program period had begun at the first strums from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake’s, Swan Theme began to play. The slow and simple movements started as the music did; delicate and sweet. However, once the darker theme came through a jump, the demeanor became harsher. Two sides of the same person in a constant struggle for dominance.
Beautiful and Wicked, Sweet and Villainous, synonyms to describe it. As the music began to reach its peak a combination spin was performed as the tone started to diminish and the final pose came with outstretched arms almost like wings, a shadow being cast along the ice.
The audience clapped and cheered loud enough that it became hard to hear the announcer on the microphone in the broadcast. “A beautiful yet terrifying short program by France’s own Angelique Candide! She truly has come aways and embraced both sides of the Swan tonight.” the announcer called as the blonde took a bow and started to get off the ice for the next competitor to get into warm-ups and collect her scores.

❄--Unexpected Changes
@sirotabekaltin
How it happened really was a blur for Yuuri. He and Victor had a long talk about things and, mutually, they had agreed maybe it would be best for them to be apart. Yuuri tried to keep his wits about him. He tried to speak to Victor properly through watery eyes. It was hard though. Victor was dear to him and part of his life. It was hard to imagine not being with him anymore. Mornings would be different. Waking up alone, having coffee in an empty apartment. It would be strange to fall asleep with a cold, empty spot in the bed next to him. But he had to do it. They agreed to still be friends and competitors, but in all honesty, Yuuri didn't know if he could handle that. Needless to say, as soon as Yuuri was alone, he broke down. Everything felt like a waste up to his point. Word got around fast and Yuuri found his phone blowing up with encouraging words from other skaters. Phichit kept trying to call him, but Yuuri ignored it. In all honesty, he didn't feel like speaking to anyone. He didn't feel worth it. Yuuri always had self-worth issues. Victor had been helping him slowly overcome it, but this ordeal had sent him spiralling downwards once more. Yuuri stepped into the rink, taking to the ice as he always had when he needed some sort of emotional crutch. Out there, he could turn his pain into something beautiful. Today was just a practice day, and practice he did for nearly 3 hours without a break. His body was tired, but he didn't want to stop. The moment he stepped off the ice, all his torment would return.
