Sir Ringo March 20, 2018 – (O&F) – Richard Starkey, AKA Ringo Starr, has been knighted for his services to music by Prince William in a ceremony at Buckingham Palace. Like fellow Beatle Paul McCartney, Starr can now be referred to as “Sir.” - The 77-year-old drummer says he hasn’t yet decided if he prefers the “Sir Ringo,” or “Sir Richard” moniker, but he joked with reporters that he planned to wear the accompanying medal at breakfast.
