It is quite funny I have discovered Sisi only this summer. The amount of her success kept me away from her in past years. Girls considered her the perfect,unfortunate princess who suffered for love and for a stern mother in law. Definitely not my coup of tea I thought; like many of you know, I am into dandy royals,not conventional ones. I discovered instead,which such a surprise,that Sisi is not just everything but boring,but she is indeed rebellious and unconventional,sometimes quite funny too. Movies focus so much into her relationship with Franz and her mother in law,but Sisi will be much more than that. Few people know,in example,that she was a key character for the creation of the so called Austro Hungarian empire. Like it is not commonly know how much she liked to have fun of the court and her conventions, her special friendship with Ludwig II, her curiosity for particular stuff like insanity,her acts of provoking,her misanthropy,her little interest in physical sex. Last but not least her poems,in which often she describes herself like the one who knew stuff which the minds at the time could not understand,and she hoped for the future minds in this. Men in here are often described with amusement as silly creatures running over a superior soul,Her. There is so much to say which cannot be said in only one post. But even this will be not enough: she is that mysterious soul who chose not to be fully known by persons.
