"Buckwild" Star Shain Gandee Reported Missing, Found Dead
An unidentified person on an ATV found three “unresponsive” people in a vehicle this morning and immediately reported the discovery to authorities in the Sissonville area of West Virginia. Upon further investigation, young “Buckwild” reality star Shain Gandee, his 48-year-old uncle David, and one other person have been confirmed dead.

21-year-old Shain Gandee was last seen with his uncle at approximately 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning at “Larry’s Bar.” According to local news sources, family members spent most of Sunday attempting to contact Shain and David before calling 911 to report them missing.
The identity of the third person found in the “truck” has not been released. It is not clear if the bodies were found in Shain Gandee’s 1984 Ford Bronco (in which he and his uncle were last seen), or in a different vehicle.
WCHS-TV‘s Kennie Bass indicated the Kanawha County Sheriff’s deputy responding to the call got “stuck” and ended up making it to the scene on a four-wheeler provided by an MTV crew who was in the area filming season two of “Buckwild.”
Shain Gandee’s “Buckwild” bio states, “‘Everyone in Sissonville, W. Va. knows Shain. Sociable and loyal, he was the high school Prom King, but missed the dance because he had to work. He’s done every job from coal mining to being a garbage man but as long as he is using his hands, he’s happy. He loves mudding, hunting and four-wheeling but most of all he loves his parents, who live three doors down.”

Buckwild Pt. 2 (Notes)
• The yellow house in South Charleston is less than a mile from my grandmother’s house. I drive by it every time I go to visit.
• A majority of all West Virginians do not act like that.
• This is not real country living.
• Morgantown is on the other side of the state and is not a short drive.
• The show is completely scripted, The local newspaper had an extensive article about the filming of the show.
• I hope people don’t come here wanting to imitate what they’ve seen on the show.
• I live near the road between Charleston and Sissonville, I really hope I don’t see the MTV crew if they film another season.
• Driving an ATV on a public road is illegal in the state of West Virginia, especially without a helmet.
<More to come later>
Buckwild Pt.1
Well the first episode has finally aired. So far, I haven't seen anybody I know but I have seen several places I know. I live in Charleston and several people in my family graduated from Sissonville high school. I feel that I must specify that the people on the show do not accurately represent the majority of the citizens in West Virginia, especially the residents of Kanawha county. I'm watching the first episode right now, and will probably have more to say about this ridiculous show.
Here we go.. Can we just blow every single television up so Buckwild won't premiere?.. It's not only going to embarrass the whole state of West Virginia, but my hometown, the one place where they filmed most of it, Sissonville. You are literally about to hear the terms "wolfpen", "jewel", and "plumb skunk" on television now. They are just going to make us more stupid. Fucking idiots..
Scenes from Sissonville, WV. Earlier this afternoon, a section of gas line along I-77 exploded, destroying four homes and damaging at least five more. No fatalities were reported, but a small number of people were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

Holy crap, a gas line exploded on the interstate in my hometown. That looks terrifying!
