Sister Simone from Mrs. Davis is truly the character of all time. She is a nun who is in a polyamorous relationship with an insecure cowboy and Jesus Christ. She's literally been to the desert on a horse with no name. She is on a sacred quest to find the holy grail. Her nemesis is an artificial intelligence with mommy issues. She has PTSD from the time she fell victim to her narcissist mother's Home Alone-style booby trap and the time her narcissist father faked his own death for a magic trick.

Today I learned that Teller (of Penn & Teller) was the magic consultant for Mrs Davis, and he actually taught Betty Gilpin how to produce cards out of thin air (because CGI would have looked fake). (source)
