We had just finished listening to Käärijä's Cha Cha Cha Mixtape twice in the car so we switched to the radio, only to find the host talking about the new Käärijä mural (in Tikkurila) and playing Cha Cha Cha... Inescapable.

Even thought I live in Finland I keep getting disturbed by Käärijä posting stories from the middle of the night when the sun is up. Like both the post-Tavastia one (where he put a plushie of himself to sleep) and the airport one (where he said goodbye to Bojan) were taken around 4-5am but because of the amount of sunlight my brain stubbornly wants to think they were taken in the middle of the day 😅

A Finnish church organist will be playing Cha cha cha during mass 😂💚

She says that she didn't love the song at first but soon got swept away by the Finnish enthusiasm about it. Some parts work well on the organ, but the rap parts are more difficult to render. She says it wouldn't fit all church services, but at lest she's planned to play it at some spring kid's mass.

I went to a queer choirs concert in Helsinki today, and one of the groups, Out n' Loud (a gay men's choir) had a Finnish Eurovision medley!

They had some older songs in the beginning, but ended with "Hard Rock Hallelujah" by Lordi, then "Dark Side" by Blind Channel, and of course "Cha Cha Cha" by Käärijä 💚

The singers all did the classic squat headbang, and finished the song by throwing green & pink ribbons in the air! Most of them had the classic Käärijä nail polish too 💅 Of course the audience was super into it 🥰

Oh and on my way home I kept seeing Käärijä's tattoo everywhere until I realized there was a Rammstein concert in town!
