They want the eggs. Otherwise, we’d be dead already.
Jurassic Park /// (2001)
Thank God for Site B
Spoilers for Jurassic Park, which if you haven't seen it by now. And you like dinosaurs, you definitely should.
First starting off as a grim, dark movie where it's people versus the hostile dinosaurs. Jurassic World is fine and all, I did enjoy the human to dinosaur interactions. Oh we won't make the same mistakes again. (Yeah okay bud) Then again, I do like Chris Pratt in that movie. In terms of what Jurassic Park was, Jurassic World is a lot more kid friendly. Even though keeping a hybrid locked up in a teeny cage was oh so smart. Note the sarcasm. In the books, (which I haven't read in a long time, so bear with me), it was a lot more violent. Like. People being torn apart and what not. I remember it being more graphic in the novel. Jurassic Park and its sequel were both really fun reads.
Out of the movies. I honestly liked Jurassic Park 3 the best, which sparked my love for the Spinosaurus. Yeah. It's inaccurate as hell. But we didn't ask for accuracy, we asked for more teeth. JP3 was a fantastic film imo, like. It's definitely not the best. But sometimes you've gotta have a somewhat bad movie lead by people who make obviously bad decisions. Like taking raptor eggs. And lying to the person who was on Isla Nublar, not Isla Sorna aka Site B. The animatronic they used for the Spinosaurus was fantastic, and the older movies have the animatronics too. My second favorite is the classic Jurassic Park, the. the Lost World, World, Dominion, and the Fallen Kingdom. I haven't seen the new one yet, but it looks promising.
Overall, most of the movies are fine. The older ones have that charm. World just sorta made it a bit more friendly. I mean. Blue being an empathetic velociraptor, listening to Owen to an extent, is kinda goofy. But it's a fun goofy. Of course. The indominus rex should've been introduced to a more friendly environment. And hand fed by the stupid people that made it. And pretty much do it again for indoraptor, because dinosaurs and hybrids are weapons for the military. Not like that they're living. Breathing creatures. Again, this is just my opinion on the movies. There's probably things I'm missing. Since I haven't watched them in a hot second.
