It’s my 5-year site anniversary - have some pie!
This is a chart showing the breakdown of my site (all 3168 people) by type, as of June, 2019:
INFP - 1.5%, INFJ - 1.8%
The left side is ESFJ, ESFP, ESTP, ESTJ and ENTP, which are the five most visible types in the media and correspondingly, 50% of the site. I don’t go searching for people of any of these types, but I’m definitely asked about them more than any others. This makes up the core cast of most tv shows, most comedy, most reporting, most show hosting.
The bottom right side - ISTP, ISFP, ENTJ, ENFP, INTP and ISTJ - are also fairly visible in the media and make up another 40% of the site. An exception should be made for INTP women, who do not turn up as often as their male counterparts. I do sometimes go looking for these types in academia, professions, politics, business, sports, music, or behind-the-scenes work (eg. screenwriting), but I usually happen upon them without too much effort.
The other 10% of the site - ENFJ, ISFJ, INTJ, INFJ, INFP - I usually find by luck, or by looking at family members of more famous people or by guessing what work they might find themselves in and then looking through every single person in that specific field of work to find the one person of that type. ENFJ men are another gender disparity, much less visible than ENFJ women.
I’m not sure if there’s anything that can be concluded from this except that in general, some types are more likely to seek out or are more comfortable with media attention than others (which, I mean - obviously).
Maybe I'm just sublimating a need for pie - it would explain a lot.
mbti-sorted is 12!!
Another milestone: the number of people posted is now...
Whoa!!
In site stats, ESFPs continue to dominate the site. ISFPs have also had a big jump in numbers this year. Attempts to retype have resulted in fewer ENTPs and INFJs (INFJs are sadly back below 100 people), with many more corrections to be made across the site. Still have not finished a rewatch of the ENTP, ESFJ, ESFP or ISTP tags.
Not a fan of cake? Have some pie:
Last year's stats.
Relationship chart last updated Apr 16.

Below is the visitors :)
This is actually insane to me
11th Anniversary obligatory charts.
I'm at 7660 people.
There were just over 550 new typings this year, but not too much has changed since last year. Numbers are steadily creeping upwards, except for ESFP (vaulting), and ENTP (back-sliding; subject to retypings).
Jun 24 - Happy 10th Anniversary to mbti_sorted!
It's 10 years to the day that I started posting on tumblr, with inagural posts David Strathairn and George Harrison.
I have typed just over 7100 people since then. Here's how the site's looking:
Pie by the numbers:
No major changes in order - ESFP really took off when I started trying to clear out the inbox (there are 10 times as many ESFPs as INFJs). The ISFJ tag also took off (a concerted effort to find more diverse ISFJs). INFP recently surpassed INTJ (about 20% of the INFP tag is chess players) and is now on par with ENFJ. INFJ and INTJ are within four people of each other.
The funniest thing that's happened lately is re: the "ask mbti sorted" tag, which I started so that I could track my own asks without spamming the general tumblr "asks" tag. Because I put so many posts in there, people started using it to tag their posts because it seemed like a popular tag, but it was just me!! I removed the tag, since the intended purpose of it has been lost (@infj-zen and I kept sending asks in order to track people we found, so a lot of them were from us).
Been charting relationships more formally - I'll keep updating this post as new information is found.
Still don't feel as if I am able to type everyone easily or well (although the tags are definitely getting much clearer), so I guess I'll keep at this for a while - see if my predictions about the British Royals are right.
I've run three #GetSorted challenges. Is there any interest in a fourth this July?
Should I run a 07/24 #GetSorted challenge?
yes, I will submit a video!
nah, I'm not interested/not 18+ years old
I've already participated in a past challenge
Ongoing projects:
1.Updating the 100% tag. This has stalled out a lot - I made it through the ESTJ tag, and then realized some of them we're actually ISTJs, and got a bit derailed. Still have ESFJ, ESFP, ISTP and ENTP to rewatch and tag. I've added a lot to the other tags, though, so I should probably just start this over from the beginning.
2.Answering typing asks (holding steady around 2200 people to go), not a typing asks, updating the relationship chart.
That's about it. Anything you're interested in seeing happen around here? Let me know in comments, tags, or the askbox. No guarantees, but I will take ideas under consideration. Seems like a good time to try something new!
This is how the site is looking in December, 2021.
A) 450-600 people: ESs. Could easily add another 2500 people if I answered all my asks.
B) 150-450 people: ISPs, ISTJ, ENPs, ENTJ. Might be able to add up to another 500 people if I answered all my asks.
C) 0-150 people: ISFJ, ENFJ, INs. A struggle to find even 100 people. Would be lucky to add even another 50 people if I answered all my asks.
