So random writing update just to see where we’re at with ✨The Projects✨

I think I’m doing pretty good with Stuck in the Parallels, although I am having a bit of a tough time at the moment. It’s kinda harder for me to work on this one since the source material is so bleh that I’m basically making an original story labeled as a fan work. I don’t mind, I’m just out of practice. I haven’t attempted an original story in a few years, even longer since I’ve finished one. I usually love fan work more because I don’t have to worry about word building and character creation from scratch. I have a foundation that I can build upon instead, which is just more enjoyable for me! I do like the challenge presented with doing such a major rewrite of an established world like Stranger Things, it’s just taking a good long bit.

Luckily, most of the characters are coming out nicely. I think I’m just debating on whether or not to keep certain characters. I know Robin’s a fan favorite, but I’m not really sure what to do with her ‘cause she never had much that I could work with. She was a cool girl stereotype when she was supposed to end up with Steve, and then became an autistic lesbian stereotype when it was decided she was queer instead. We’ll see what happens in SitP, hopefully I’ll at least have an idea of how to include her in a minor role. We’ll see what happens.

With MFIP, I’m not really in a current inspired phase; my brain’s been a bit too in the SitP mode. But I’m not worried! I’m happy letting Chapter 13 marinate for a bit before I continue, especially since I left it off at a pretty nice area I can easily pick back up from. I’m excited for my next MFIP spree since we might be able to finish the first arc within that boost ;w; At the very least, I’ll have Chapter 13 finished and let 14 be another day’s beast
