Very late combination of my Valentine’s Day gift but also MFIP’s 3rd year anniversary for @yourlocalartsonist ! This was very fun and sweet to work on after doing lots of stuff in the background~

I read MFIP again yesterday and I’ve never seen anyone actually get shy with their fictional crush whenever they have to write about them. @yourlocalartsonist, my sister, way you write Leo is too good, or maybe Leo just has some aura that keeps getting stronger the more MFIP chapters come out… idk could be that—

it’s so stupid too that Leo has so much charm even outside of the romance, he’s just that good.

I will admit that I fell for the anti-Leo propaganda in earlier 2023 but then this fic took me out of that because he’s characterized so accurately and I thought “Ohhhh so he’s NOT a jerk” and boom I’ve been drawing him the most thanks to this fic. No joke it’s good.

I know this is going up on August, but this is actually the first piece I’ve drawn ever since deciding to prioritize Tumblr more. I was in a bit of a creative drought, and kept getting drained from a lot of situations and influences I was around. Like I said, I really figured out I needed to stop prioritizing that environment and start prioritizing something I love instead! I’m so happy I finally got to actually make something I’m proud of. It’s very dreamy and romantic, and the process was pretty experimental honestly. I did a lot more after-effects too compared to my usual ‘cause I really wanted to capture the blurry vision in my head and define it. I feel like I’ve returned to the passion I used to feel when creating, and I’m really happy I have~

I woke up today with the ideas for different iterations of Salena and just had to draw them. WIP that I couldn’t help sharing, these gals are 1987 and 2003! She’s 15 in ‘87 and 16 in ‘03! I’m gonna do 2012, but I don’t know yet if I’ll do MM (didn’t really get inspired). Promi and I have a lil lore to share about each Salena but that’s after I draw them all!
