Today has been absolutely magnificent because a little parcel of pure joy arrived for me this afternoon. I have in my sweaty little paws the fanbinding of Nothing But You On My Mind by @sits-bound and not only was it as beautiful as it looked in the photos, but @sits-bound actually went a whole incredible step further and did a new binding which added my Erised fic Nothing Gold Can Stay - it's a mother fricken double bind you guys.
I cried.
Look at how clever the spine is, and you flip the book over to read each half! Look at the little charms on the bookmark! Moon, Flower, Rose! And the decal on the cover! The gorgeous paper! The fonts! The beautiful little graphics between the sections for Nothing Gold Can Stay, its the little water glass that Draco couldn't bring himself to tip out because it was the last thing Harry had put his lips on! Can you see why I'm still crying????
This was such a beautiful and moving gift and I can't thank you enough @sits-bound, you are wonderful and I love it so much. I've said it before but I'll reiterate, this will be going with me in the coffin one day.
