For the purposes of this poll, "sitting still" means sitting without shaking your legs, fidgeting, rocking/bouncing in your seat, tapping your fingers, etc. Literally sitting absolutely still aside from purely utilitarian movements such as leaning forward to look closer, turning to get a pen out of a drawer, etc.

When sitting to study or work, do you usually sit completely still?

What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?

Murphy -

For a reason? Like, for a stakeout or to prove a point? Forever. My boy suffers from short term irritability but plays the long game on patience.

Shae -

Can't. Just can't do it. Needs to be reading or something. Anything to know that progress is being made somewhere in one way or another. Incapable of just sitting back and relaxing.

Is good at the sitting but bad at the still part. Needs to be doing or watching or playing something or all that energy just builds up pressure like shaking a coke bottle.

If they have weed? Hours. Pretty easily, too. Completely sober and left in silence? Wouldn't last two minutes before they're so impatient they're practically climbing the walls.

Could do it the longest, but wouldn't want to. Prefers to be busy and occupied in their waking hours but, being a vampire and all, they are capable of an unnatural stillness that most humans would struggle to imitate.

King is unhappy with me. I’m not taking it easy after my surgery quite like I should. Very few can put me in place without royal retribution….but King is one of them.

“Good Lord Woman! Do you know how to sit still?”

Me: “I in fact do not know how to sit still.”

King “you’re not funny”

Me: “I think I’m hilarious.”

King: “Are you trying to drive me over the edge?”

Me: “is that a trick question?”

He for sure doesn’t think I’m funny.
