There's genuinely something SO interesting and compelling to me about SitzKrieg's character and the conditions of his death in 2.5 that I don't think anyone has really tried to capitalize on in any significant way within the fandom yet... Which is a shame to me!!!

Because like... He was assassinated, but because he was AFK, they allowed him to return on the condition that he would die in the war..... Just... Like... That's a Faustian bargin right there!

The Commonwealth failed. It fell apart, its members either defecting against his group or being dead... And in a moment of vulnerability that he couldn't control, SitzKrieg himself would fall too... But the gods took pity on him. They would allow him to return... But from this moment on, he was marked for death. He would live, only to die in the coming war. Ultimately he would stand and die protecting the queen of the only remaining ally he had left. Another tragic figure in her own right who had also been abandoned by her allies and condemned for her mistakes as her kingdom fell around her.

Like... The fact that SitzKrieg and Cynikka took their last stand and died together... OOH there is something so juicy there! And I need to see it capitalized upon!

Okay, but the potential for narrative parallels between SitzKrieg and Cynikka (in 2.5) could go SO HARD! Because like... Both ended up being condemned and abandoned for bringing in someone from the other island that they considered to be like a brother to them, only for that figure to abandon them by the end as they fought to protect their lives. Which, of course, culminated in Cynikka and SitzKrieg dying together in that last tower stronghold.
