MOTHMAN. . 2020 By me. . . Today’s addition to the six fan arts I asked for a week or years or a few days or so ago. Time has lost all meaning. So I’m posting this yesterday after drawing it next week from suggestions I haven’t gotten yet today. Anyway enjoy my version of the Mothman.™️ . He’s a cryptid that always creeped me out. Growing up in the woods things like this guy and the jersey devil seemed more like a “When” encounter than an “If”. . Now, as with most monsters, after living in the woods so long, I’m pretty sure things like this and alien encounters were just unusual animals like a wounded barn owl or something. . But there’s for sure a part o me that knows this guy is out there somewhere. Happy to be confused with an owl. . For my version I decided to give him some fuzzy antenna and fuzz the rest of him up as well. Although I found him to be creepy I don’t think he is anymore. I think like the moth he’s just misunderstood.
