En for me looks very young and would have the same worries and paranoia like first time parents do. He'd be a young parent also, like around 18 years old when he gets his child. He conceived them during a High school party for graduates, so he was 17, 9 months later he gets a baby shipped to him via Banjo. (5 star shipping)

Yeah... En wasn't happy at first, but he changed his mind after holding his kid for the first time and finding out what could possibly be the most crappiest life a child could live if they stayed and was raised with their mother. (En looking at their mother in the police station: Never expected you to turn up like this Sayo).
Since En was a underground Hero and earning cash from it and Banjo was willing to give him some money if he ever needed it and he was getting child support by his child's mother's family he didn't have to worry much about money. Remember how he's an underground hero? He has a job he has to go to, it's just the question who's going to look after his kid? He can't just take his baby with him! His job is not safe for him to just take his baby and have it be like "take your kid to work days" unless you can convince his targets and villains to not throw their knives, quirks, and bullets at him with his baby strapped to his chest like a bullet proof vest.

En was really worried that his enemies would find out he had a child. And he grew a deep paranoia whenever he had to hire a babysitter or nanny to look after his kid when he to leave for a long time. He feels really relaxed and comforted whenever Banjo doesn't have hero work to do and he can trust him with his child.
Banjo has a blast whenever he babysits En's kid. He teaches them all sorts of things, for example, like words. He tries his best to keep all kinds of swear words away from the babies earshot and tries to keep friendly words around. Of course, the one time he accidentally lets out a swear word he swears it on Hikage's life he said it quietly (En doesn't believe him). The baby of course had to have super hearing or something because the very next day when En returns and him and Banjo are out in the city getting groceries for their place (En moved in with Banjo because he had better security and he could receive support as well) the baby had to let out their first words.
Banjo could've sworn AFO would get PTSD again from the stare En was giving him that day. The worse part in his book that made the situation worse? it was the babies first word.
After that fiasco, En still trusted him to babysit. But he installed a device to listen into so he could catch Banjo in the act if he ever swore around his child and prove it him that he did do it.
Cue to 4 years later when they're a toddler and can eat normal food, En has reached the level of "Normal cook" whenever he makes dinner. (Thankfully for Banjo, as he was the poor victim who had to suffer tasting En's cooking. He felt as though he failed Hikage when he first taught En the basics of cooking). En has released his quirk sometimes in the apartment to surprise and play hide and seek with them, sometimes the kid manages to scare him with Banjos help with Blackwhip, which almost gives En heart attacks because his kid is hanging from the ceiling.
En has relaxed over the years and is not that paranoid but he still worries when he has to send his child to school. You know those situations where the kid is excited to start school and the parent is the one who doesn't want to send them and crying over it? Yeah, that's En and his kid.
En could be hugging his kid at the school entrance and not letting them go and Banjo trying to convince him to let go because they're about to be late for their patrol and trying to get the kid out his arms. Meanwhile the kid has a "help me please" look as their father and uncle are arguing and some parents and even kids are looking weirdly at them.
All in all, En would make a good parent, but sometimes he doesn't know what the hell he's doing most of the time and he should probably get a therapist for his anxiety and do mediation but he manages to pull through and wings it still.
